Breeding directions

Today you can differentiate between different sporting requirements. This determines the type of horse.

The holder horse

A horse very well muscled, with often thin tubes that don't quite fit the caliber. Nice to look at. Only used to show the horses predominantly in the stand.

The reining horse

A horse that is not too big, usually not over 1.5 m, with a calm temperament, willing to please, good stopping ability

The cutting horse

Similar in physique to the Reining horse but with a distinctive cow sense. It takes speed and quick reactions. It works independently.

The ranch horse

More calibrated than the reining or cutting horse, it is often used for classes like steer daubing, heading and heeling etc. This also requires a certain body mass to be able to hold against it during the lasso work.

The pleasure horse

Nowadays (2020) a lot of whole blood is crossed and a lot of Zippo Pine Bar (QH). The horse should walk as slowly and gently as possible in the basic gaits. Often much longer-legged.

The racehorse

Both the barrel racer and the Appaloosa on the racetrack are meant here. They often have a lot of thoroughbred, racing quarter blood in their pedigree. Are often a bit more difficult in terms of temperament. But very few have hereditary diseases.

The endurance horse

Arab blood is often crossed for endurance rides

The all-round horse

A calm, pleasant, medium-sized horse, which satisfies all requirements, his strengths lie in vesality also for top-class sport.
